Dorothy H. Wallen

Dorothy H. Wallen, is an experienced human resources professional with 14 years of specialization in the areas of compensation and benefits management as well as extensive work as an HR generalist. In addition to her HR generalist knowledge and experience, Ms. Wallen brings to HR Advisors a broad spectrum of compensation and benefits awareness acquired from working in a variety of industries, including financial services, telecommunications, medical research and non-profit.

Her extensive HR generalist expertise in industrial settings combined with her personalized consulting experience allows her to assist companies in designing plans that enhance marketability, strengthen retention and focus employees on strategic objectives. In addition, her experience includes developing and facilitating valuable communication and training programs and corporate seminars on a variety of compensations and benefits topics such as FMLA, ADA, HIPPA and employee incentive plans.

Ms. Wallen received an MS in Applied Behavioral Science-HR Development from Johns Hopkins University and a BA is Psychology and Sociology from the University of Maryland. She is also a registered CCP, Certified Compensation Professional and an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
